Venue: Pundok Panaghiusa sa Iligan Headquarters, Palao, Iligan City

**********************Minutes of Meeting*************************

I. The meeting started with both Christian and Islam prayers, given by Hon. Laarni Jane Ong and Hon. Saidale Gandamra, respectively. The reading of the previous minutes then followed.

II. Hon. Laarni Jane Ong moved for the approval of the previous minutes seconded by Hon. Rogebel Vargas. Carried and approved.

III. Open Forum

Rogebel

*observed that quorom is seldom achieved during SK Federation meetings

Jameerah

*felt that the hinterland barangays are inactive

*they have transportation and schedule problems

Alinor

*they have lesser budget compared to other SK Councils

Roberto

*observed that cooperation is less visible in then SK Federation

Florence

*they have difficulty in the accessing information

*observed the deteriorating performance of the SK Federation

Ven

*observed that the SK Federation doesn’t have regular meetings and bondings

*promised to cooperate

Kemfe

*there’s lack of bonding in the SK Federation

Khristela

*realized that the SK Federation was experiencing problems

*SK Federation members didn’t have control in the SK Federation activities and programs

*SKs weren’t empowered SKs in the first two years

*there should be a dress code every meeting

V. Main Agenda:

Monthly Meeting/Attendance Concerns

Upon due deliberation, it was moved by Hon. Bernard Gersale to allow SK Councilors to represent their SK Chairman if the latter is unavailable to attend the SK Federation meeting/s seconded by Hon. Charmine Perez.

Regular Meeting

Hon. Charmine Perez moved that the SK Federation meetings be scheduled every 2nd Saturday of the month seconded by Hon. Lee Marvin Rollon. Carried and approved.

Information Dissemination

Hon. Laarni Jane Ong moved that the SK Federation must provide notices of meeting (aside from text messages) to SK Chairpersons and that the “BUDDY” system should be encouraged seconded by Hon. Charise Manloloyo. Carried and approved.

Dress Code

Hon. Bernard Gersale moved to request SK Federation members to wear appropriate choice of clothing during SK Federation meetings seconded by Hon. Khristela Maria Catig. Carried and approved.

Hon. Charise Manloloyo moved that the SK Federation will sponsor the SK Federation White Polo uniform seconded by Hon. Khristela Maria Catig. Carried and approved.

Hon. Charmine Perez moved that there will also be a “WORKING” or activity uniform seconded by Hon. Bernard Gersale. Carried and approved.

Radio Program

Hon. Lee Marvin Rollon moved to suspend indefinitely the airing of the “Lihok ta Bai” radio program seconded by Hon. Charise Manloloyo. Carried and approved.

Inactive SK Federation Officers

Hon. Laarni Jane Ong moved that the SK Federation President shall make a formal letter to all inactive SK Federation officers and members to check how their status seconded by Hon. Khristela Maria Catig. Carried and approved.

SK Activities/Programs

Hon. Anna Fatima Centeno moved that there will be an SK Federation Comprehensive and Overnight Planning seconded by Hon. Bernard Gersale. Carried and approved.

Other Matters

Hon. Bernard Gersale moved that there will be a Sports Fest for all SK Officials seconded by Hon. Khristela Maria Catig. Carried and approved.

Hon. Charmine Perez. moved that the SK Federation mst have an official ID seconded by Hon. Charise Manloloyo. Carried and approved.
